Village extended close to the Montseny Natural Park, in Congost Valley. It is formed by two separate areas close to Brull region. The town was an ancient nucleus surrounded by the walls from 12th up to 15th centuries. It still remains a part of them close to the parish church of Santa Maria, and whose houses are adorned by large windows from 13th to 16th centuries. The village also has some ancient farms with a great architectonical value.
