Verdaguer House-Museum with a Catalan breakfast

Explore the childhood home of the famous Catalan writer Jacint Verdaguer (1845-1902) in Folgueroles, the oldest literary museum in Catalonia. We suggest a guided tour followed by a traditional Catalan breakfast of coca del mossèn (flatbread) and llonganissa (dry-cured sausage) from the Vic Plain. You’ll discover all the enigmas associated with the poet’s life and the secrets of the 17th-century farmhouse. This is a great experience to find out about rural and literary life, not to mention the local cuisine. Osona is an exceptional area for literary tourism, and Verdaguer is the main attraction thanks to his large readership in Catalonia and abroad.
