Perafita
Perafita was first documented in 909. In 1396, the medieval administrative jurisdiction of Lluçanès was created, and Perafita became a capital (the other capital being Sant Feliu Sasserra). While being an administrative centre, the town grew, and the arrival French immigrants contributed the growth of weavers and other artisanal trades. In 1714, the town was fired upon by the troop of Felip de Borbó during the Succession War, in revenge of the support of Jaume Puig, in favour of the Austrian candidate.
