Montesquiu
Montesquiu is a town situated in the northern part of the county which it has been a part of since 1990. It was once a part of the Ripollès county. Montesquiu has an area of 4,8 square kilometres of rough terrain. There aren’t large hills, and the lowest part is a riverbed. Located 560 metres above sea level, the highest point is the top of the mountain situated north-east of the La Solana county house, which belongs to Serrat de la Rovira, and is 885 metres high. The relief of the area shows the end of La Plana de Vic and where the Pyrenees mountains start.
